So you probably noticed that Tails has the case of herpaderp going on, but some other things to note here are Johnny’s Sonic emblem on the back of his coat are missing Sonics nose and pupils for the eyes; also see that part where Johnny just threw his staff weapon in a desperation move to save Amy?
On the next page he still has it on him.
AMOSTC Comment: I can forgive the lack of detail on the back of the jacket and even the googly eyes (though, seriously, what the hell), but it does seem odd that the script actively draws attention to Johnny not having his staff then Carl forgetting that. Maybe it’s like Mjolnir?
